Official Rules and Regulations of the $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE AND VIP TASTING EXPERIENCE GIVEAWAY TO GOLD HILL WINERY


NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

ELIGIBILITY
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of the official rules and regulations as outlined below. Void where prohibited by law.

Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Destination Osoyoos and its affiliates and subsidiaries and their immediate family members (spouse/domestic partner, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.

ENTRY PERIOD
The contest will run during the following times:
Friday, September 28, 2023, until Wednesday, October 18th, 2023, at 3 p.m.

After the contest period, the winner will be notified via push notification and/or the email provided.

HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary. Enter by filling out the contest entry form on the official contest page through the Destination Osoyoos Website.

PRIZE DETAILS

This prize through the Destination Osoyoos mobile app contest includes one $50.00 gift card to Gold Hill Winery and VIP Tasting Experience for up to 4 people, with the total prize valued at $230.00 CAD.


Please note the following restrictions for the prize:
The prize must be redeemed before it expires (if applicable). Subject to availability. There will be no extensions for use of these beyond the expiry date. Exact prize items are subject to change based on availability. You must be of legal drinking age in British Columbia to enter.

The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) for this prize is $230 in CDN Dollars as of the date of printing of these Official Rules. The difference in the value of the Prize as stated herein and the value at the time of prize notification, if any, will not be awarded.


Prizes do not include any other item or expense not specifically described in these Official Rules & Regulations, including gratuities, and all additional expenses including, without limitation, other travel expenses, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Only listed prizes will be awarded and no substitutions or cash equivalents or redemption will be made. The winner agrees to accept the prize “as is”, and entrants hereby acknowledge that Destination Osoyoos has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact, or in law, relative to the prize, including express warranties (if any) provided exclusively by a prize supplier that is sent along with the prize. Prize travel is subject to space availability at the time of booking and minimum reservation requirements may apply. Other conditions may apply.


SELECTION OF WINNER
The winner of each prize package will be selected randomly by Destination Osoyoos, whose decisions on all matters relating to drawing and winner are final and binding. The Prize will be awarded at random from all eligible entries received. Destination Osoyoos reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award the prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Contest or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via email or phone number provided, no more than 24 hours after the weekly contest draw date.

If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, they will be disqualified, and another eligible entrant may be selected by random draw as a potential prize winner until such time as an entrant satisfied the terms set out herein and the prize is awarded.

Publicity, Privacy & Prize Notification: Except where prohibited by law or regulation, by submitting an entry, the entrant grants Destination Osoyoos a perpetual, royalty-free license to use his/her name, photograph, voice, and likeness in connection with the promotion of this and other Sweepstakes, and entrants waive any and all claims and/or rights to receive any royalties or other compensation for Destination Osoyoos’ use thereof unless prohibited by law. Entrants’ information that Destination Osoyoos collects will not be disclosed to third parties.

Entrants that do not win will not be notified.

General Conditions: The submission of an entry is solely the responsibility of the entrant. Only eligible entries received within each Entry Period will be included in the prize drawings. Destination Osoyoos retains the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. This contest and all affiliated businesses, entries, and entrants are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Limitation to Liability & Release: By participating in the Destination Osoyoos Sweepstakes entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Destination Osoyoos, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively “Releases”) from and against any and all injuries, losses, damages, claims, and actions of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Contest, or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or non-use of the prize that may be awarded, including, without limitation, actual, direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, special, or other damages.
