Anarchist Mountain Lookout
No trip to the South Okanagan is complete without a visit to the Anarchist Mountain Lookout in Osoyoos. Anarchist Mountain Lookout is a stunning viewpoint located just outside of Osoyoos. Rising 685 metres (2247 ft) above sea level, Anarchist Mountain lookout offers panoramic views of Osoyoos Lake, the town, as well as South towards Washington State and the Town of Oroville, WA.
How to get there: Head East on Highway 3 from Osoyoos. Follow the switchback for approximately 7 km until you reach the area to safely pull off on the right-hand side. Viewpoint signs will prompt you as you head to this area. Parking is limited, so please be mindful of other visitors.
Note that if you are heading West on Highway 3 heading down Anarchist Mountain, you will be able to pull over at the pull-out by the Town of Osoyoos sign for a slightly different view but you will not be able to access the Anarchist Mountain Lookout.
