The Desert Golf Academy located in Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada’s only desert has been inspired and created by golf professional Wayne Hachey. Wayne began his professional golfing career at the Osoyoos Golf Club in 1984 and worked as an assistant professional at that time. After receiving top honours from the CPGA head professional program, Wayne then travelled to Germany to work as a Head Professional at Golf Club Erlangen for 5 years. In 1997 Wayne then created the EPD Tour and helped develop many of today’s top European Tour stars , such as 2010 PGA Champion , 2014 US Open Champion, 2014 Players Championship winner Martin Kaymer.
Wayne continues to organize events for the Evolve Pro Tour in Spain which prepares the “next generation” of top professional golfers as well as one of the top world amateur junior tournaments.
The main focus of the Desert Golf Academy is to bring the many years of experience Wayne has gathered through his close association with many top players in the world of golf, and pass on this knowledge to the students that he coaches and mentors in a fun learning environment.

The Desert Golf Academy is equipped with Smart 2 Move Force Plates. These plates measure how each individual golfer uses the lateral, rotational and vertical forces throughout the golf swing. How a golfer utilizes the ground is what moves the arms and clubs. With this information we can maximize your efficiency and reduce your risk of injury.

With our latest 3D motion capture, we are able to measure your entire wrist movement throughout the golf swing. One of the best technologies at the moment. We leave any guess work out of the equation.
