Tucked into the northwest corner of the Golden Mile Bench, Fairview Cellars is a small, family-owned winery rooted in passion, place, and a deep love of the land. Owned and operated by Danielle and Dermott Hutton, Fairview is known for its bold red wines, warm hospitality, and laid-back, welcoming atmosphere.
Danielle manages the cellar and tasting room, while Dermott oversees the vineyard—bringing a hands-on, deeply rooted approach to every vintage. With a focus on sustainability and small-lot production, the wines are crafted from estate-grown fruit and select local vineyards, all within 20 km of the winery.
Guests are invited to enjoy a personalized tasting either inside the tasting room or out on the new patio overlooking the fairway below. Two tasting options are available: a New Vintage Flight, featuring current releases, or a Library Flight with rare, aged wines that are 10 years old or more. Each tasting includes a take-home branded Riedel Ouverture glass, making it a special and memorable experience for collectors and casual wine lovers alike.
Fairview Cellars is open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM from April through late October, with the last tasting of the day offered at 4:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are recommended for groups of six or more.
In addition to tastings, Fairview hosts a range of seasonal events including live music evenings, winemaker dinners, and relaxed patio gatherings. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, Fairview offers an authentic Golden Mile experience—unpretentious, personal, and unforgettable.
